River tracing is an itinerary that involves hiking, wading and rocks climbing.
It has becoming more and more popular in Taiwan.
There are many well-known locations in Taiwan. What you need to do is fid a certified river tracing guide.
To ensure your safty, the river tracing guide will do an on-site inspection a day before the schedule.
Jinping river (錦屏溪) is one of the popular spots localed in Jianshi Township (尖石鄉) .
It is an approximately 20-minute drive from Neiwan train station.
Once meet up with our guide, most of team members will usually stay over night at Jinping beauty hot spring resort (錦屏美人湯).
The river guide will instruct the safty training and distribute all the equipment necessary to the adventure.
The equipment includes: wetsuit, water boots, lifejacket, helmet, gloves...etc.
Friendly reminder: Please bring towels and a dry clothing as they are needed after the adventure.
It is best to just wear a swimming suit under your wetsuit.
The adventure usually takes a full day, our river guide will prepare lunch and water for you.
If you need extra snack to boost energy, you can also bring some chocolate in waterproof bags.
Please do not bring any valuables such as your wallet or camera and don't worry about missing any fun moments during the adventure.
Because there will be a professional photographer to travel with the team.
There will be a perfessional photographer takes a digital waterproof camera follow the whole team.
At the end of the tour, the river guide will take us to the top of the beautyful waterfall.
The team will take a rest and cook lunch right here.
In the meantime, the river guide will set up the equipments for gerund.
It's the best part of the tour, you can rappelling down to a 3-5 meter tall rock platform and diving into the water.
or you can choose a lower platform that is only 1-2 meter tall.
