Mawudu Forest is a well-known sightseeing spot because of the Taiwanese TV show - Green Forest My Home (綠光森林).
Mawudu (馬武督) is located in Guanxi (關西) and is originated from indigenous people.
Tayal (泰雅), the local Indigenous tribe, names the place Ma'oto in their mother tongue long time ago.
Here, you'll enjoy the phytoncide and fresh air in this coniferous forest.
After the TV show finished the filming, Green Forest Elementary School (綠光小學) is still kept here for memory.

If you wish not to continue hiking, waterfall is the stop point to backtrack to the trailhead.
